The Chase at PGA Golf Club is a challenging 7,471-yard layout and is the first golf course on the Bear Trail-a series of Jack Nicklaus designed courses that will eventually flow throught the Coyote Springs community. A par 72, the Chase's lush rye-grass fairways are set against a dramatic desert backdrop, with mountain vistas in every direction. The course also features water on 11 holes which makes even the best players take notice. Greens are fortified by deep, white-sand bunkers and feature plenty of movement with plateaus that are ripe for strategic pin placements. Touted to be one of Nicklaus' finest desert creations. The pure golf experience at PGA Golf Club is enhanced by the club's caddie program. The caddies-or PGA Golf Club Ambassadors-will offer required forecaddie services. In addition to The Chase course, a second golf course at PGA Golf Club is currently under development. This yet-to-be-named second course, a collaboration between Jack Nicklaus and legendary architect Pete Dye, is expected to be under construction by 2010. The Chase at Coyote Springs also features a truly outstanding practice facility. The 19.6 acre practice facility features 100,000 square feet of teeing ground, 13 target greens and laser measurement for greater accuracy.
The Chase at Coyote Springs is a must play while visiting Las Vegas. The course is offering a "soft" opening throughout 2008 and will take tee times on a limited basis. Food and Beverage facilities are still under development at the course. Until complete, feel free to take your own food and beverage to enjoy while playing this beauty. This course will soon be recognized as one of the bset courses in the Las Vegas area and well worth the 55-minute drive.
