The Saguaro course at We-Ko-Pa was unveiled to the public on December 16, 2006. Saguaro, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw’s latest highly touted design compliments an already impressive portfolio of masterpieces, such as; Bandon Trails in Bend, Oregon, Sand Hills in Mullen, Nebraska, Friar’s Head in Baiting Hollow, New York and the Golf Club at Cuscowilla in Eatonton, Georgia. Built with walking in mind, Bill Coore and Ben Crenshaw integrated design elements into this golf course not commonly seen in the desert southwest. Saguaro is much like the older more traditional courses, where greens are close to tees and the course follows the natural movement of the land, making Saguaro a very special golf course in the Valley of the Sun. Saguaro was honored with the #1 Public Access Course ranking in Golfweeks Best – State-By-State 2013 & #20 Best Resort Course in the U.S.
